Martin Crandon

London, England

Martin is a cross-discipline creative inspired by the idea that everything can be more functional and beautiful.

With work based in art, design, photography, video, music, and more, an all-encompassing skillset enables him to help his clients tell the story they have to tell, across any medium.

Studying at Leeds College of Music in the north of England, he specialised in Music Production and received his Bachelor's degree whilst practicing design in the city. With close proximity to the area's music scene, Martin was able to work with countless bands and artists to help craft the art and image for their music.

This large volume of work, as well as  an ability to strategise and direct large-scale projects while attending to details, has led to work with notable music industry clients such as Warner Music Group & ADA Music, Dork Magazine, and others.

With a far-reaching knowledge of many skillsets, Martin is able to tap in to key information from one discipline that brings out a fresh perspective in another. This is why Clients consistently return to work with him, often on projects different in scope and discipline.

I also produce music for artists, take photos of people, make playlists + various other things.

Over the past 8 years, I’ve been lucky enough to work on projects with wonderful clients such as Warner Music Group, Dork Magazine, ADA Music, The Stage, and many others.

I'm driven by wanting the widest range of experiences and to have a positive impact on the way the world is designed.

So far, I’ve sat in on recordings of chart-topping bands, met with top record labels (and produced ads for some of their finest artists), helped forge identities and produce creative for leading publications, and helped countless upcoming artists, brands and businesses with building their creative brand.

Now it's time to take an even larger leap forward.

More about me

Questions?

You do quite a lot of things. Why don't you specialise?

Over the years, I ended up teaching myself anything I found interesting –which turned out to be quite a few things. I enjoy working on all kinds of projects, and the wide range helps keep things fresh and varied for me.

While I might be better known if I focused on pushing myself in one field, I think I would miss the variety. Plus, I think the quality of my work still stands well enough!

What are your biggest influences?

I love contrast. Pop and alternative music; Monochrome minimalism vs Colourful maximalism; order mixed with chaos. I think opposites usually attract, and the best outcomes can often come from taking two different things and using them to make something new.

Otherwise, I'm inspired by a wide range of art, design, film, fashion, architecture and interior design, music, and more.
